My husband and I both work in education, we have a 3 year old daughter and 5 year old son.
My Requirements
Looking for a childminder to do drop off/pick up and wraparound care for my 3 year old daughter. She has two options of nursery places- one at Scallywags’s (based at Buckland school) Tues-Thurs 9-3 and one at Laleham church playgroup Weds and Thurs 9-1 (with the possibility of a place also on Tuesday if it becomes available). We would need childcare from 7.30-5.30.
I also have a son in Reception at Laleham School, he potentially needs wraparound care also (depending on which nursery place my daughter ends up taking!)

Lyssa has cared for our daughter since she was a baby and provided wrap around care for our son. She provides a brilliant home-from-home environment for our children; she is a second Mum to our daughter and I know that the love our children feel for her is mutual. They are truly made to feel a part of the family and cared for as Lyssa’s own which is more than I could ever have hoped for my children when they are away from us.
Lyssa provides a great range of activities for the children, she knows them each as individuals and cares for each of their quirks. She has had years of experience and has supported us through every phase and stage. I will forever be grateful for how she supported my want to continue breastfeeding when my daughter started as a baby and she was brilliant at enabling me to send milk etc.
Lyssa will always be family to us now, we will forever be grateful for the love that she has shared with our children. I know that our children are going to miss her terribly as they move on to their next stage but this won’t be goodbye.
