About Me
I currently work full-time mostly remote for the Civil Service. I have recently bought a house in Leighton Buzzard from Manchester. I come from a large family and I was my nieces caretaker whilst my sister worked. She has a non-verbal autistic aged 3 and who has a younger sister who I cared for age 1. In my spare time I enjoy walking my large dog and keeping active.
My Experience
I have always loved children, I worked as a nursery assistant for 1 year when I left school. I have supported SEN children from volunteering, personally and whilst at work. I have worked closely with teenagers, overnight and taking them away. During lock down I baby sat a 9 month old every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a year doing her evening routine whilst mum and dad worked. My most recent role was a support worker for adults. I am recently moved from Manchester to Leighton Buzzard and would like to get back doing what I love. This summer I spent 3 weeks watching a lovely 5 year old little girl. I then went to Ireland for 1 week to watch 3 children, 12, 7 and 3.
