About Me
Hello, I’m currently taking a gap year from university and plan on going into a teaching career for children ages 4-11, I have worked in play centres for small children and am a leader of a brownie group in Oldham, so have relevant experience with working with children. I also have a full DBS check that is on the updated service and am trained in paediatric first aid, meaning my skills are directly fit for looking after young children.
My Experience
My work in a play centre has given me valuable experience is looking after children as young as 6 months old to pre teen years and because of this I am capable of looking after big groups of children by myself, my Brownie leader experience also has made me extremely competent in working with younger children and I live with my younger brother who has learning difficulties and am perfectly capable of looking after children with disabilities such as autism, adhd and dyslexia as I have grown up caring for my brother and understand on a personal level the different needs for children with different types of disabilities.
My Qualifications
I have a paediatric first aid certificate and have completed safeguarding of children courses, I also have a level 3 health and social care qualification
