About Me
Hi! My name is Angelique and I’m a second year med student studying in Southampton. In the holidays, I’m located in London.
I’ve been a tutor for 4 years now, so I’ve had a lot of experience with talking to kids and getting on well with them! Additionally, because of this background I am able to help out with any homework/holiday work.
I’ve held very random jobs in the past - I was once a scare actor for Tulley’s Farm! I love jobs that will keep me on my feet and occupied with something new everyday.
I’m hoping to go into paediatric psychiatry when I finish (many years to go!) as I love working with and supporting young minds.
My Experience
I’ve been a tutor for 4 years now - I achieved 3 A* at A-Levels so I teach biology, chemistry and psychology up to A-Level, and physics to GCSE. I also teach piano and help with UCAT (for medicine).
Additionally, I am a Southampton committee member for the national charity Teddy Bear Hospital - the charity involves trips to primary schools where we educate children about our bodies, healthy eating and encourage them to get over any fears of doctors.
Recently, I’ve provided 1-on-1 babysitting at a kids camp for a younger child attending the holiday camp.
I’ve also held roles as a scare actor at Tulley’s Farm, which I’ve really enjoyed.
