About Me
I am currently a Health & Social Care Lecturer at a local FE college, bringing over 15 years of industry experience directly into the classroom. My teaching experience is broad and dynamic, spanning Health & Social Care, ESOL, Functional Skills English and Maths, and literacy, numeracy and life skills for learners with SEND.
Beyond the classroom, I am a therapist specialising in CBT and DBT, working with both children and adults, including autistic clients. I am also a Civil & Commercial Mediator, supporting individuals and businesses to resolve conflict constructively.
My wider expertise includes NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), Emotional Intelligence, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Leadership and Personal Development.
This combination of teaching, industry and therapeutic experience enables me to do more than simply deliver a curriculum. I engage, motivate and empower learners, adapting my teaching to the individual while helping them build the knowledge, confidence and skills to progress.

Ruby was very professional and understood the help and services I needed exactly for my son She is very professional and qualified to provide support to SEN children , especially where kids need the encouragement and psychological support . She immediately establishes a rapport with the child and with her communication and other strategies helps them achieve their objectives and goals . She is highly passionate about her work and ensured she used the best strategies for my son . I would highly recommend Ruby for her services especially with respect to SEN children.
