About Me
My name is Antonia Emmerson, and I am 23 years old. I have been babysitting/providing childcare since 2019 and have been taking care of my younger sister since 2017. I was also a carer from 2021-2022. I have just graduated Northumbria University where I studied Criminology.
My Experience
I started babysitting in 2019. I have looked after many children, ranging from 0-16 years. I was also a elderly carer, so my age range definitely varies! I also have experience with learning difficulties and behavioural issues. During these years, I have done a variety of things. I have helped with homework and tutoring as needed. Cared for infants, including feeding, diapering, and dressing, and met the physical, social, and emotional needs of children in my care. I enjoy this job very much!
My Qualifications
I have a Distinction Star in a Policing course, and I have graduated with a bachelors degree from Northumbria University. I have enhancement training in caring and also received my children's and adults' first aid training within this. A valid DBS certificate is also on my profile along with allergy training and safeguarding.
My Availability
I am pretty flexible at the moment and can do whatever is needed.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
£12 is my preferred hourly rate, but I am not set on this price depending on circumstances.

I am very happy to have found Antonia! She has been wonderful with my son, who struggles with anxiety and takes a while to become comfortable with people. She was patient, friendly and kind right from the start, and now my son absolutely adores her! She really made an effort with us and I am very grateful for that. She is incredibly reliable, punctual and always keeps in touch when she is out and takes lots of photos which is so lovely. She is also super fun - she gets fully immersed in whatever she is doing and happy to run around and play lots of games, it’s clear she has a real love of children. Highly recommended, thank you Antonia!
