About Me
I am a responsible, friendly and nurturing babysitter in the Liverpool area (Kensington, Fairfield, Central and more) with a variety of experience in childcare, particularly SEN. I am a 23 year old university graduate hoping to pursue a Masters.
I am fully DBS checked and I am able to work some weekdays, and most evenings and weekends. I am open and accepting of all cultures, religions, and types of families, and I am happy to work with any requirements or accommodations you might need. I love working with children in a fun, kind and patient way, creating a safe and supportive space for them to thrive, and I’m excited to hear from you!
My Experience
I have experience as a Teaching Assistant in various SEN primary schools and mainstream preschool, and have gained skills in a variety of areas including Autism and ADHD support, behaviour management, sensory play, speech and language therapy, art making, help with school work, and personal care.
Due to my experience in schools and academic background, I am also open to helping out with school work and tutoring.
My Qualifications
I have successfully completed training in several areas including Safeguarding Children Level 1, Babysitting, Improving Children’s Learning Through Play, Behaviour Management, and Speech and Language.
I have GCSEs in English, Mathematics, Art & Design, Sociology, and Religious Studies, Philosophy & Ethics, and A-Levels in Art & Design, Sociology, and Religious Studies, Philosophy & Ethics.
I also have an extensive art background having completed a Foundation Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree, and I am working towards a Masters Degree in Art Psychotherapy working with children with SEN and mental health struggles. I have a passion for engaging children and young people through art, and I have really enjoyed doing arts and crafts and reading books with the children I’ve worked with!
