I am a patient, warm person with particular interest in the role of play in children's development. I love to learn from the children that are in my care and immersing myself in each individual child's world. I am creative and adaptable, with an ability to think on my feet. My practice revolves around creating a safe and comfortable space for each child, based on their individual needs.
My Experience
I am an Outdoor Kindergarten Practitioner (3-5yrs) and am currently finishing my SVQ Lvl 7 In Social Services (Children and Young People). I have a Master of Arts in Theatre Studies and a Master of Letters in Playwriting and Dramaturgy, which are invaluable to my practice and the way I structure my childcare. I currently work with both neurotypical and neurodivergent children and also have experience working with children aged 3-12 years.
My Qualifications
Master of Letters - Playwriting and Dramaturgy (Graduated with Distinction)
Master of Arts - Theatre Studies (Graduated with 2:1)
Social Services, Children and Young People - Level 7 (Currently Completing)
I am also trained in Pediatric First Aid.
My Availability
I currently work 4 days a week at an Outdoor Forest School, but would be willing to free up one or two days a week. This would provide the opportunity to work with individual children on a more focused basis, allowing me to direct my time and energy to one or two children and provide them childcare that pertains, wholly, to their specific needs.
