About Me
I am a 23 year old graduate from Rochester. I am very family oriented, coming from a large Irish family myself, and believe that as a nanny my role is to care and look after your children as though they are family to fulfil their emotional developmental needs.
I currently live at home with my two nephews, aged 2.5years and 1 year, with a niece on the way!
I believe in hands on learning, and plenty of activity and outdoor time to engage a child's creativity whilst learning. As someone with a degree in Environmental Sciences, but also a passion for art and music, I think all hobbies and interests should be explored and encouraged so children can develop both academically and creatively.
My Experience
Whilst at university and during the pandemic I worked as a nanny for 4 years. I have experience with ages 2-10, and I am confident in helping with school work also. I also have experience working in animal care so I am happy to help out with pets and/or dog walking if required. School runs are no problem as I have a full UK driving license with no points, and a large car suitable for 2 car seats.
I am experienced in working with children with learning and physical disabilities, specifically autism and adhd, dyslexia, hearing disabilities, and ostomies.
I can also cook meals and snacks for your children including being aware of allergies and intolerances- I am first aid trained with epipens, and experienced in dealing with severe allergies.
My Qualifications
13 GSCEs (available upon request),
A level English literature, fine art, biology, and chemistry,
Degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of East Anglia.
First aid qualified
Full UK driving license
Grade 9 drums
PADI divemaster
My Availability
Available for immediate start. Happy to work weekends if appropriate notice of 1-2 weeks is given.
