I am very thankful and excited that you have taken the time to read my profile! I am a 20 year old medical student who loves caring and supporting the needs of others. I am from a family of 5, with 2 sisters, and lots of little cousins, therefore I am very used to being in noisy environments and finding ways to entertain (and control) this when needed.
My Experience
I have volunteered at a children’s club dedicated to helping children with autism and disabilities. My role was to support their needs, whilst supervising play and organising activities for them to undertake.
As a healthcare assistant I supported the personal needs of others, assisted bathing, dressing and was a friendly face to talk to.
As a nursery assistant, I helped feed the children, organise games for them and support their development and learning.
Being an Au Pair for a family in Spain, I taught the children English, cared for them, helped with homework and organised activities. I learnt the importance of responsibility in caring for others.
I also had the opportunity to be an overseas childrens worker in Ecuador, where I volunteered with an organisation supporting children, and with the local church where I ran the Sunday school classes and English classes.
My Qualifications
I have 10 GCSE’s achieving 8 x Grade 9s and 2 x Grade 8s
I have 3 A levels in Biology, Chemistry and Spanish achieving A*, A*, A respectively
Drivers Licence
Gold Duke of Edinburgh award

Toritse babysat my 3 year old son who is autistic and nonverbal and she was absolutely awesome. She took her time dealing with him and putting him to bed. She communicated well and was on time. I felt absolutely comfortable leaving my son with her.
