About Me
Hi! I'm Charlie, Mum to nearly 3-year old, Albert (aka Albie and Bertie!). Albie is full of energy and finds joy and laughter everywhere. He loves dancing, singing and playing ball! My husband and I are freelancers and travel lots for work and so work with childminders and babysitters across the country on an ad-hoc basis, but we're based in Westbrook, near Margate. We have a friendly lurcher-cross called Ralph and when in Margate, are sometimes looking for someone to watch both Albie and Ralph (although aside from asking to go into the garden, Ralph doesn't really need looking after!).
My Requirements
Ad-hoc childcare at various times, be that individual or nanny share.

Nikkie, Harry and Laura are just fantastic and provide a really lovely, supportive environment with the perfect balance between play and learning. My son was there weekly from nine months to 3 years, but he often attended much more when Nikkie had more availability. He'd bring home an array of fab crafts which he'd made (including really thoughtful greetings cards ahead of Mother's Day etc). He was always proud of the different things he'd learnt and even though he's now at full-time pre-school he still constantly asks, "can we see Harry, Nikkie and Laura soon"? He was really well fed, loved the other children who were various ages and would tell us all about the visits to the beach, park or soft play they did daily. Nikkie was also really helpful in supporting us as first-time parents. I honestly can't recommend this setting enough - I've discovered how rare it is to have three registered childminders looking after a small group and I know my son really benefitted from this much support.

We came to Sarah with an unusual request - as I'm a freelancer, I have to take my toddler around the country with me on jobs and so look for ad-hoc placements with childminders.
Sarah was everything we could have hoped for - her home is a really lovely and fun environment and located in a quiet secure area.
Albie had so much fun at the different playgroups he was taken to, ate really well and learnt lots too. His vocabulary improved and he even napped every day (which is very unusual in a childcare setting!).
I was so grateful for Sarah's flexibility and adaptability around my work commitments and her ability to make Albie feel like one of her flock, for the two weeks he was with her. If we lived closer, Albie would be there full-time!
