About Me
Hi I’m Morganne! I’m am a 23 year old teaching assistant from Swansea. I live with my lovely partner and his beautiful 4 year year old daughter. I have always loved looking after children and have always seen it as a high reward career. Making every activity enjoyable is important to me as I believe the best way for a child to learn and be happy is through play and interacting with enthusiastic individuals. I love to travel and see the world but also live to enjoy what I have on my doorstep. Walks down our beautiful beaches rain or shine. I am currently doing a degree in children’s educational studies with the intention of moving on to becoming a children’s therapist.
My Experience
I currently work in a Welsh primary school in Swansea as a teaching assistant where I started in 2018 after completing my A levels on Childcare and development. In the time between 2018 and now I have done other childcare careers such as 1-2-1 agency teaching for children with additional learning needs and working in a children’s residential home. By carrying out different roles in childcare I have acquired a wide skill set. I have worked closely with children ages 2-18, worked with children of many learning and emotional needs, fluent Welsh and English speaker, able to support children with school work, also provide personal care for example feeding, changing, bathing and carrying out nighttime routines. All this has equipped me with a nurturing and loving approach to childcare.
