Hi! I’m ashleigh, a 23 year old fun, loving, confident individual with a passion for working with children. I am a child at heart and love anything Disney. I am kind, calm and very patient. I am a very mature person committed to ensuring child’s welfare and wellness through fun educational activities. I am an adaptable babysitter with knowledge of behaviours, hygiene and nutrition.
I’m not your typical 23 year old, I’m quite an old soul, very family oriented especially after losing my mam at a young age. I do love a karaoke night as I feel this is where I can express myself best as a singer.
I have always been very nurturing and wanted to work with children from a young age. I love helping and watching them grow, learn and adapt.
My Experience
I have worked with children in different schools through agency work for the last 2 years. I have experience of working in the ALN sector, including 1:1 support. I have worked with children aged 3 - 13 also (nursery to secondary school). I have also supported a young person with Prader Willi Syndrome.
I am a qualified level 2 Learning Support Assistant and a qualified Nursery Assistant.
I often babysit my niece and have her overnight and have done since she was a few months old.

My Qualifications
I have 11 GCSE’s including Maths & English and a Distinction * in A level Music & Performance.
I have also been a qualified Level 2 LSA for 2 years and have worked with children through an agency since. I have recently achieved my Nursery Assistant Certificate.
My Availability
I work in a nursery 4 days a week 8am - 6pm. My day off each week varies, but I know on a Wednesday what my day off will be the upcoming week.
