About Me
Hello! We are a happy family of four (five, counting our adorable dog). We are based in OX14.
My Requirements
We live in north Abingdon OX14. We’re looking for a nanny to help look after our two-year-old son two days a week (Monday/Tuesday), during business hours, starting in June 2025. Duties include feeding him, playing with him, changing his nappies etc. We are especially keen on actively building his motor skills, curiosity, and socialising.

We wholeheartedly recommend Libby, who worked with our family as a nanny from 2024 to May 2025. During this time, Libby cared primarily for our son, who was younger than one when she began, and also looked after our young daughter during after school hours and school holidays.
Libby worked with us three days a week. She was consistently punctual and always communicative, and kept us updated on ETAs from public transport. Her reliability and professionalism were evident from the start. As a nanny, Libby is kind, gentle, and fun—qualities that made her a beloved figure in our household. Our son adored spending time with her, and she always ensured his needs were met with great attention to detail. When preparing for outings, Libby packed thoughtfully with all essentials, including nappies, sun cream, snacks, water, toys etc. She also took initiative in finding engaging groups and activities for the children to attend. She worked
with the natural interests of the children, allowing them to take the lead in choosing some of the activities, whether baking a cake or going to a nearby construction site to see diggers!
Beyond childcare, Libby contributed meaningfully to our household during quieter moments, such as folding laundry and walking our dog while the baby napped. Her ability to balance childcare with household support was invaluable. During school holidays, Libby seamlessly managed both children, tailoring age-appropriate
activities and ensuring each child received individual attention throughout the day. Her ability to set clear boundaries and maintain a nurturing environment was something we deeply appreciated.
Libby has moved on to a new chapter in her life, and while we are thrilled for her, we are genuinely sad to see her go. She has been an incredible support to our family, and we cannot recommend her highly enough. Libby will be an asset to any family fortunate enough to work with her.
