About Me

Hi, I'm Aaron. We're a family in Kettering (NN15) looking for a kind, patient, SEND-experienced babysitter for our son Oliver, who is 7 and autistic.

About Oliver: he loves routine and sensory activities, and he loves getting out and about: walks, nature and trips to the shops. He communicates mainly through gestures and uses very few words, so someone who's happy to tune into his cues would be perfect.

What we need help with: toileting and nappy changing, meals and preparing food, and keeping him happy, safe and engaged. No medication is needed. It would just be Oliver at home.

When: 10am to 4pm at our home, on Tue 20 and Wed 21 October and every day of half term (Mon 26 to Fri 30 October), with the possibility of more regular work afterwards.

Requirements: an Enhanced DBS and experience with SEND (autism or complex needs). We offer £15 per hour. One of us works from home some days, so we're often around and available for support.

I'm looking for a caring, experienced babysitter for my son Oliver, aged 7. He's autistic, has complex communication needs and needs close one-to-one supervision, so experience with autism/SEND is essential. Care is at our home in Kettering (NN15), 10am–4pm, on Tuesday 20 and Wednesday 21 October, and every day of half term, Monday 26 to Friday 30 October. Great Experience

Needed some help with our son with special needs. Riva supported us and provided a really constructive environment that he loved. She planned activities each day and was well occupied.

She was also prompt and on time. She communicated well also.
