About Me
I am a caring, reliable and positive person with over 5 years of experience working with children amd young people from ages 0-18 years old. I have worked with children which have Additional learning needs, from Autism and right across the spectrum.
I am Paediatric First Aid trained and have a level 3 Advanced Diploma in Children and Young People's workforce.I am currently undertaking the studies to complete the level 3 QCF in health and social care. I have completed the Level 2 amd Level 3 award in Teaching Assistants:supporting young people in school (CPD)
I have recently refreshed my PMVA and manual handling training, also, I have just passed DoL’s and mental capacity act 2005 course.
I am registered with Social Care Wales and Education WorkforceCouncil.
After that I am wanting to progress and complete my level 4 and 5.
My Experience
I have worked in trauma informed care and also followed the TRIBE approach. My background includes providing life skills and support services to mentally and/or behaviourally challenged children/young people and adults while organising and leading caseloads and programs to ensure achievement of patient objectives. My ability to quickly connect with individuals and establish trusting relationships, along with my strong communication and organisation talents, prepare me to thrive in this position.
