About Me
I have just gotten back from travel and working in childcare abroad in America and am looking for part-time childcare work before I start university in September. In my spare time I love to paint, make clothes and exercise. I am very friendly and reliable and would love to spend my spare time looking after kids alongside my part time job.
My Experience
Last Summer I took part in Camp America in the US for two months, in which I worked full-time with children aged 6-15.
I was wholly responsible for a group of twelve girls age 9-12, 24 hours a day, helping them develop routines and respect for one another as well as resolving any conflicts that arose between them.
I was responsible for planning and delivering art and cooking lessons. This taught me valuable experience looking after kids in situations where they have dangerous equipment.
I also have experience with a few of my kids having severe anxiety and panick attacks, this gave me valuable experience on how to calm them down and help build their own confidence.
My Qualifications
9 GCSEs- three A*s, three As, three Bs
A-levels- A* in Art, A in Maths, B in Psychology
Art foundation in fashion design
Going on to study Costume Design in university
My Availability
I am currently awaiting to start as a teaching assistant in a primary school which will be 8-3.30 on weekdays.
I am available any weekday evenings and weekends.
