About Me
Hi there!
My name is Ilia and I’m a 21 year old student living in Stockbridge. I’m currently studying ACCA accountancy online, and thus have a flexible schedule that makes me eager to find part-time work in childcare, a rewarding and essential job!
This is perfect for me as a big nature enthusiast who loves spontaneity and the outdoors! I’m creative at heart, always finding ways to incorporate this into work. If you want me to take your kids a walk, I’m there! Doodling? Always. Day trip? Of course!
I come from a large family of 6 and, understand the hard work, hilarities and beautiful moments of childcare.
I have babysitting experience both with my siblings, tutoring and outside of the home with family friends. For the past year I have babysat for the child (11) of family friends on an ad-hoc basis. It's been a joy to come up with new and creative ideas to keep her entertained, educated and feeling safe in her environment. We often go on outings, whether it's to play tennis or a cosy walk and tasty cake at The Botanic Gardens.
I’m responsible, punctual and hard-working, but always with a smile. I’m happy to take on cleaning, homework, bed time and work last minute. I’m located quite central so can commune easily to other parts of the city.

My Experience
I’ve worked for family friends this past year babysitting their 11 year old. I’ve also taken care of a family friends younger baby, lead play groups and tutored younger kids. Additionally, I’ve taken care of my 3 younger siblings, all under 10, which has helped hone my understanding of the skills necessary to foster a safe environment for a parent’s child.
These responsibilities have included day trips (park, museum, cafe etc), cooking and cleaning, bathing, homework and bedtime/overnight help.
I’ve also had some experience with younger kids aged 0-3.

I’m available Monday-Friday and also occasionally flexible during the weekends for ad-hoc work. I’m happy to help last minute and during evenings too!
