My Experience

I currently hold a position as playworker in a Karemore Limited out-of-school club. I work with children 5-11. In my position, I'm required to supervise groups of children in a 1:10 ratio, to create and engage the children in afternoon acitivities, providing snacks and direct group games. I believe in the importance of educational leisure activities appropriate for each age group. Art education, physical education, health and safety education and culinary education are some of the areas that influence my games and activities.

I have also gained childcare experience through my position as a Student Mentor at GCU. Particularly, I mentored a group a P1 children in the STEM project, where we learned about technology in fun and practical ways.

I'm looking for casual or recurrent babysitting opportunities in the morning.

My Qualifications

I have held a PVG for the past 3 years. I hold Emotional Literacy, Basic First, Paedriatic First Aid certificates and I'm always updating my knowledge on childcare and childhood practices. I am enrolled in a number of courses studying child development, particularly on children's perspective on play.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £12.00 per hour

I understand the cost of living is high and times are hard. Because of this, I will keep my minimum fee at the current National living wage of £12/h. For multiple children, pet care and more fee information please send me a message.
