About Me
I’m Libby- a young, energetic & experienced professional nanny who has worked with children of all ages, from the slower newborn days to the more fast paced care of toddlers & even teenagers. I love being outdoors, learning through play and giving little minds the freedom to explore, discover and grow.
I became a Mum last year & since then , I have an even greater appreciation for how much juggling parenthood can involve. I understand how important it is to find someone you truly trust and feel comfortable with. Someone who feels like family.
To me, nannying is so much more than a job- it’s built on trust, patience and friendship. I want to provide more than just childcare; I want to support the whole family, fit around your routines and parenting techniques, and be someone you can rely on. My aim is to create a happy, nurturing environment where children feel safe, loved and encouraged to thrive.
I offer ADHOC babysitting services, mothers help, overnight care/ proxy parenting & nannying- including weddings.

My Experience
I have been nannying for over 5 years, being self employed for the last 3, with experience from newborns to 13 years old!
All my roles include housekeeping, I love to help parents feel on top of more than just childcare, whether that be cooking nutritious meals or staying on top of the washing. A huge part of my job is taking littles out: parks, national trust centres, swim lessons, rock climbing, play groups etc & lots of socialising!
I have an active approach to nannying, encouraging learning through play, and constantly being outdoors with kids, regardless of the weather. I take a gentle approach, allowing children to explore, feel safe & confident to be themselves.
I have experience with children with SEN (ADHD, ADD and autism)and physical disabilities.
My Qualifications
I have a clear enhanced DBS , a full clean UK drivers license and I am level 3 paediatric first aid trained. I have 3 A levels and am studying for my bachelors degree.
My Availability
I am looking for either a reoccurring role or ADHOC care from September 2026!
My little girl who will be 11 months at the time may possibly be in tow - so must be comfortable with that!

- Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
- Nannying from £18.00 per hour (gross)

Libby has worked with our family since 2023, first as a full-time, directly employed nanny, and more recently on a regular ad-hoc basis through her own childcare business. She has supported our two children from ages 3 and 6 through to 7 and 9, and has been consistently reliable, warm, and genuinely invested in their wellbeing throughout.
She has a naturally calm, gentle way with children and builds real rapport with them, our children have always felt safe, happy, and understood in her care. She is confident taking them out and about, keeps them engaged, and manages routines smoothly. She also handled our family dog with ease, which mattered in a busy household.
Libby became a mum herself in 2025, and now brings her baby along when she cares for our kids. Far from being a distraction, it's added something lovely to their time together, the pair enjoy having the baby around, and Libby juggles both with real ease and good humour. It's a testament to how naturally capable she is.
Both my husband and I work full, unpredictable, demanding schedules, and Libby adapted with real maturity and discretion. She managed the children's needs independently, kept the home calm and organised, and gave us complete confidence that everything was in hand, even at short notice.
I would recommend Libby without hesitation to any family looking for a professional nanny who is kind, capable, and genuinely trustworthy. She has been a real support to us, and any household would be fortunate to have her.
