About Me
I am very passionate with my job. I enjoy working with children and I am very good with taking care of them. I love cooking and cleaning. In the nursery that I used to work at I would work around all different age ranges. I worked with babies from months old to 1, 1 to 2 years old as well as 2 to 3, 3 to 4 and 4 to 5 years old. I also gained experience with ages 5-11 as I’ve worked in schools after working in a nursery. I am a very fun, playful person. I like going outdoors or staying inside playing board games?? My services consist of picking up the children, if needs picking up, taking them home, cooking them dinner, making sure everything is cleaned and tidy. I would then be able to help the child(ren) with any homework they might have from school. We would then play games and then put them to bed if it’s time appropriate. If the children are under the age of five I would do similar things that are age appropriate for them. Feeding them, making sure what I’m cooking is suitable for them and I am supervising them at all times.
My Experience
I worked in a private day nursery for two years between 2023 and 2025 whilst I was doing my level 3 diploma in childcare. I used to also provide English and maths tutoring to a child with special needs those 2 years as well. I did this on the weekend. I often babysit my niece who is 3 years old. I also completed 750 hours worth of placement hours in a primary school in Year 1 and 2. After working in a nursery I have been working with an agency here in Kingston as a Teaching Assistant. This was between October 2025 to current.
My Qualifications
I am level 3 qualified and at uni getting my bachelors in education. I have first aid training and have been DBS checked.
My Availability
I am available on weekends with some exceptions on weekdays that I finish early.
