Hello! I’m Hannah, a 25 year old student who currently lives in the wonderful Barnes area! I moved to London nearly five years ago from Germany as an AuPair but quickly fell in love with the country and my work and decided to stay here. Working with children is the most rewarding thing in life - there’s nothing better than exploring the outdoors, baking and cooking delicious food with the kids, or enjoying the walk back home after school when they tell you all about their day and what new things they have learned! I also love reading adventurous books to them before bed time, or helping them with their homework. Whatever it is, my priority is to be there for them (and you as a parent!) and have fun!

My Experience
As I have mentioned before, I came to London as an AuPair five years ago this summer and I have worked and lived with two families whom I still am in touch with to this day and love them to bits. The endless weeks of lockdowns has taught me a lot about myself and my role in childcare and I found myself to be a big sister to confide in, an teacher and parent figure that guided them to do their homework and chores, and overall just someone who is ready to make the best out of any situation! Besides my AuPairing jobs I have been babysitting and nannying for other families (children aged anything between 3-14 years old) in London and back at home in Germany!
My Qualifications

References from two families I have worked for 2+ years each
Currently working towards a new first aid certificate!
My Availability
I am happy to talk about my current situation with you privately but I am a very flexible person and I don’t mind to work full-time/over time during the holidays or half-term. Especially now with the summer holidays coming up I’m more than happy to look after the kids all day long and go on adventures. During the week I cannot do Wednesday and Friday afternoons, but this will change soon! From August onwards I should be available whenever and I definitely don’t mind ad-hoc babysitting if you need me. Communication is the key!
