About Me
We are a young family of four living in Crouch End / Muswell Hill.
My Requirements
We are looking for a part-time nanny to look after our 2 year old daughter, 08:30 - 16:30 or 17:00, three days a week, Tues to Thurs. If the right nanny was looking for four days a week, we are open to discussing this too.
We’d like to meet an experienced nanny with lots
of initiative who is passionate about early years development, with ideas for stimulating play and learning. It would be a bonus to meet someone that enjoys cooking and can prepare some family meals for us and perhaps put on a load of laundry while our daughter naps. An even bigger bonus if you use makaton or are willing to learn it on the job.
Our daughter is a very calm, happy child with a good routine in place. This role will include giving her lunch and putting her down for her nap. It will
also include taking her to some physio appointments; she is a little delayed developmentally and we are working on her walking at the moment, as well as speech and language.
We have a 5 year old son also who is at a school on our road. This role will occasionally include school drop offs / pick ups and possibly - during the school holidays - there will be some days caring for both children.
We are looking forward to meeting you and welcoming you into our family!

We employed Lauren as a SEN nanny for our daughter, Scarlett, who has Cornelia de Lange Syndrome. Lauren began working with our family in February 2025 and worked three mornings per week from 8:30am–1:30pm. She was very flexible in her role and regularly stayed until 2:30/3:00pm when needed.
Lauren was with us for a year. In February 2026, when I returned to work, our childcare needs changed and we required longer hours, with someone able to stay until 4:30/5:00pm. Unfortunately, Lauren was unable to commit to this due to other commitments she had.
Lauren was exceptional in her role and developed an incredible bond with Scarlett. She supported Scarlet’s communication by teaching her Makaton and worked closely on her physical development and gross motor skills. She regularly took Scarlett to activities and assisted with physiotherapy appointments, and was insured to drive our car for this purpose. She supported Scarlett’s routine and never missed a nap.
During nap times, Lauren was proactive and helpful, often preparing healthy meals for our family. She consistently went above and beyond her role, helping with household tasks such as cleaning up after our morning breakfast, loading and unloading the dishwasher, keeping all surfaces clean and tidy and managing some laundry.
Lauren is an experienced, dedicated, compassionate and professional SEN nanny, and we would highly recommend her to any family. We are really saddened not to be working with her anymore - her next family will be very lucky.
