About Me

Hello, I'm Amber
I am a kind, caring and nurturing person. I am 30 years old and I am based in Bishops Cleeve. I am a primary school teacher. I have lots of experience working with young children and have worked in a range of schools across Gloucestershire in the 7 years since I qualified. I enjoy going to the gym, art, playing the guitar, going to concerts, socialising with friends and spending time outdoors. I am able to provide baby sitting services and phonics/reading tutoring during half terms.

My Experience

Since leaving secondary school, I have always had an interest in childcare and education. I spent two years completing an Early Years Level 3 course which allowed me to learn more about the Early Years Foundation Stage and early childhood development. I then undertook my degree in Education at the University of Gloucestershire. This allowed me to explore the role, impact and background of education. I then continued my studies by carrying out a PGCE. I am currently a Reception and Year 1 class teacher. I have an NPQ in Early Years Leadership and I am also phonics and early years lead at my school.
