I’m 23 years old and I’ve been described as a caring, friendly and reliable person who loves spending time with children and young people. I have professional experience working with young people with SEN and really enjoy supporting them in their day-to-day lives.
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, keeping active at the gym, going for walks and trying out fun activities. I’m always happy to get involved and make childcare enjoyable, whether that’s playing games, getting creative, cooking together or exploring outdoors.
I’m first aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS check, and I always aim to provide a safe, positive and fun environment for every child.
My Experience
I have experience working with children and young people, including those with SEN and SEMH needs. In my current role, I support young people both within a specialist provision and out in the community, helping them to feel safe, supported and engaged.
I really enjoy building positive relationships with children and helping them develop their confidence, independence and social skills. I’m patient, caring and approachable, and I always aim to create a fun, encouraging and safe environment.
I have experience planning and supporting activities, encouraging children to get involved in new experiences, and adapting my approach to suit each individual child’s needs and personality.
I also have a background in care, including experience as a Healthcare Assistant, and I am trained in first aid, medication administration and safeguarding. I am DBS checked and understand the importance of maintaining a child’s wellbeing, safety and privacy.
I have always loved working with children and would be happy supporting them with play, activities, routines, outings, homework and general childcare. I’m reliable, responsible and genuinely enjoy helping children feel happy, confident and cared for.
My Qualifications
I’m first aid trained and hold an enhanced DBS check. I also have professional experience working with children and young people with SEN, giving me a strong understanding of individual needs, safeguarding and providing appropriate support.
My Availability
I’m available for babysitting during evenings and weekends, alongside my full-time work. I’m flexible where possible and happy to discuss specific dates and times with families in advance.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
My standard rate is £13 per hour, reflecting my professional childcare and SEN experience, first aid training and enhanced DBS check.
I’m happy to discuss rates depending on the hours, number of children and individual childcare needs.
