About Me
My name is Anahita. I am French and math teacher. I have been a full time home tutor for many years now. Working alongside the school curriculum to support your child fully, I provide individualized lesson plans, strengthen knowledge and improve understanding of topics studied at school.
I also provide more challenging work, where appropriate. I give comprehensive feedback after each lesson and set achievable homework goals to establish thorough learning of key concepts. In time, children grow in confidence and they begin to flourish and become focused young people.
I would say that foreign languages are my passion and I believe that this might be helpful with bilingual families. I am a reliable person, very patient with children and trustworthy to parents. Calmness and good organisation are absolutely crucial to achieving good results with children and I am certain that I possess both characteristics. Paying attention to every child’s individual needs is my commitment and priority. I am convinced that it lets her/him build thorough knowledge, get the best results in the educational process, as well as have fun and plenty of happy experiences. On the other hand, I am also full of ideas about how to manage difficulties one might encounter working with over-brimming with energy children.
I have a passion for teaching, a wealth of experience and an insightful approach. Helping children to reach their full potential is extremely rewarding. It is wonderful knowing that I have played a small part in guiding and shaping their future

My Experience
I am bilingual with excellent art, photography, pottery and IT skills. I have been working with children as private teacher for more than 10 years. I've been successfully preparing number of children for grammar schools and private schools.
I offer a friendly and calm approach when teaching your child so that we can together achieve the best possible results.
As a teacher, I keeping lessons fun and engaging. I form a unique bond with each child and encourage them to work independently, purely for the joy of learning.
By following the child’s interests, I have created endearing bonds and lasting friendships with many of the families whose children I have taught. Fortunately, this has given me the opportunity to help siblings in each family too.

I have a bachelor degree in French language and literature. Meanwhile, I am studying language pedagogy

- Tutoring from £35.00 per hour
Tutoring from £30.00 per hour face to face (+£10 for home visit) or online
I charge from £30 an hour per subject i.e English,Maths, French.Before your child starts, an intial assessment of your child is highly recommended for a small fee.
