Hi, I’m Chioma. A little about me, I’m 23 and originally from Ireland. I moved to Leeds just over a year ago to continue my studies in Child and Adolescent Mental Health. Before moving, I completed a four-year Bachelor’s degree in Social Care, where I gained experience working with children of different ages and needs. I also have previous babysitting experience in Ireland.
I have a little toy poodle of my own, so we’re regulars at the park! He’s very good with children, so if you’re comfortable with it, I’d be happy to bring him along occasionally.
I also have an enhanced DBS and references available if needed.

My Experience
I’m a social care worker originally from Ireland, and I moved to Leeds in September to study Child and Adolescent Mental Health. I have experience working with children and young people in schools, youth work, family support, childcare and social care.
I have supported children with additional needs, including SEN and social, emotional and mental health needs. My experience has involved helping with learning, activities, routines, emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour, while making sure children feel safe, understood and comfortable.
My Qualifications
I’ve worked in different childcare sections including after school club, babysitting, summer camp work and youth care programmes
My Availability
Please note that my availability is limited to the summer period, as I will be returning to Ireland for the school term in the fall.
