About Me
Hiya, I’m Kaz, first time mum to Kiarah who is currently nearly 2 years old (DOB: 19.02.24) she was recently diagnosed with cystic fibrosis so everything has been a whirlwind from the get go. Looking for a child minder local to Kirton in Lindsey as a nursery setting had too many illnesses. She’s been at a childminder setting before and it was much better for her :-)
My Requirements
Hey, as briefly explained Kiarah has cystic fibrosis so looking for a patient trustworthy individual to help look after her while I consider returning back to work in January 2026 , hygiene is important and when she’s older she cannot go in things like sandpits , or play with mud kitchens, muddy puddles etc (due to bacteria that’s dangerous for her) we have cystic fibrosis nurses who also are happy to talk to any childminders regarding the care required , currently she has Creon before every meal time and on some antibiotics and vitamins (i could administer before and after the childcare though if needed) the Creon is vital though as this helps her gain weight and keep vital fats absorbed) happily talk over the phone or meet f2f to explain this properly , so if anyone has previous experience with CF or feels this will be fine please please contact me :)
Thank you. Kiarah isa very happy talkative little girl who loves play and sensory , she is a normal little girl who just requires a bit of medication and just mindfulness of the things she can’t do that’s related to anything stagnant water or mud, again I’m more than happy to chat to anyone in further detail about cystic fibrosis:) no one can catch it , it’s genetic ?
