Hello, I’m Charlotte. I live near the centre of Norwich with my husband and our two kids - a 12 year old boy, and an 8 year old girl who has Down syndrome.
My Requirements
My husband is about to start a new job that will involve some early starts and weekend working, and we’re looking for someone to give me a hand with getting my daughter to school a couple of mornings a week, plus occasional/ad hoc help at the weekends (possibly every other Sunday).
Our daughter is lots of fun and can be very loving, but she also has a will of steel! So we are looking for someone patient, kind and fun that wouldn’t be fazed by her occasional shenanigans. Ideally you’ll have special needs experience, but it’s not a deal-breaker.

Laura has been looking after our daughter around once a month for the past year, and we feel so lucky to have found her! Our daughter has Down syndrome and is quite particular about who she will form a bond with - and Laura is one of her very favourite people. Each time Laura looks after her they go out and do something fun - they’ve been to soft play, Pensthorpe, the theatre, the beach - and they always come back having had a super day. Laura is warm, affectionate, practical, sensible, fun, thoughtful, super experienced… Honestly we just can’t fault her.
