About Me

I have looked after children of various ages ranging from newborns to 12 years. Ive been looking after children for around 9 years; nannying, working in nurseries and crèches (and absolutely loving it) I have a level 3 qualification in early years education. I like the Montessori approach and like to implement it where I can (lots of outdoor playing & fostering independence). I’m also big on gentle parenting/conscious parenting. Im looking to do a course in child psychology as it really fascinates me. Over the years I’ve learnt a lot about children’s development and have become really good at thinking of fun things to do for different age groups. I am particularly confident caring for young children and supporting early years development. I love all things artsy, sometimes i do face paints if I’m looking after younger ones & they usually love it! Im happy to plan activities & outings for children. I am fluent in Italian so always happy to speak to children in Italian if parents would like me to do so. I am DBS checked, trained in paediatric first aid and in basic life support. I am reliable and take pride in creating a safe and secure environment for the children in my care. Happy to provide references, training certificates and also meet before a sit if you’d like :)
