Hello!
My name is Emily and I am 25 years old and living in Dundee. I studied Fine Art and Philosophy at the University of Dundee and enjoyed a few years working as a freelance arts educator and muralist before discovering my passion for early years education. I re-trained as an early years educator and now work for a children's charity as a programme lead.
I love to be able to support children to develop their skills and confidence, supporting them to explore their interests through child-led play.
In my free time I love to go to book club with my friends, paint and draw, and bake cakes (which you will definitely get to try!).
My Experience
I am a qualified early years practitioner and work freelance as an artist, arts educator and programme lead for a children's charity. I am experienced working with additional support needs and seek to provide, nurturing, child centred care. I have experience with Montessori and Reggio Amelia education and have worked with children from 1-18 years old.
