About Me
Hi!
I’m Daisy and just about to start college. I’ll be attending college 3 days a week so will have plenty of free time for regular, last-minute or occasional work. I’m studying Sports Science and Psychology so I’m very interested in learning about human behaviour, emotional intelligence and of course children. Obviously I’m interested in health and fitness and have spent my whole life training in gymnastics, dance and diving, as well as loads of other sports for fun. I’m into nutrition, healthy living (I don’t smoke or drink!) and helping out others. I’m hard working, energetic and reliable and love spending time with children - my best friend has 2 siblings under 5 and I’m always helping out with them, as well as playing with them.
I live at home in Leigh with my parents and brother and crazy 2 year old cockapoo dog and sweet 5 year old cat.
My Experience
During my last year at senior school, I took part in a Peer mentoring scheme, which involved listening to, guiding and advising younger year groups with their problems or worries at school. This was mainly academic, personal and friendship problems or issues. I found this time spent with younger children really rewarding and satisfying, and I learnt quite a lot.
I have spent most of my childhood training at South Essex Gymnastic club which in the last 2 years involved helping train and encourage younger children in my squad, as I ended up training in a mixed age group display squad. I have recently been helping with babysitting family friend’s children – a 5 year old little girl and 3 year old boy. It’s been fun and I’m excited to do some more of this.
My Qualifications
I am still studying and so my fees are reflected in my qualifications and experience and I happy to work at this rate to gain more experience and knowledge.
My Availability
I'm at college on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays so available all day Wednesdays and Fridays. I’m also available after college from 5.30pm until around 9pm. I have a part time job 2 Saturday afternoons a month so usually available around the weekend. I’m also available during half terms and all school holidays every day. I’m going to be studying at college for the next 2 years and then Uni for a few more years so available for long term needs and to build up good relationships as I know children appreciate consistency.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £14.00 per hour
helping with homework, play, care, food preparation and general help around the house. I am also happy to pet sit, dog walk or whatever may be needed
