About Me
I am an experienced primary school teacher across a range of ages.
I have experience working with children with a range of SEN needs including ASD, ADHD and global delay. I have also received Level 1 training in Makaton.
My teaching style is very practical based, building in real life experiences where possible. A love of learning is key to developing a secure knowledge of skills and this is what I aim to achieve when working with the young person.
Each session will be tailored to the needs of your child. This could be:
• developing skills in reading, writing and maths.
• preparation for the Phonics Screening Check
• identifying and plugging gaps in learning
• working on targets set out in their EHCP or Speech and Language targets.
• Attention building (Attention Autism approach)
Additionally, I can write educational reports to support your family with applications or EHCP reviews.
My Experience
As a tutor and throughout my teaching career, I have worked with a wide age range of children with complex additional needs, such as ASD, ADHD, PDA profiles, SEHM needs as well as children who are non-verbal/pre-verbal.
I am Makaton trained and phonics trained.
My school experience is within KS1, lower KS2 and in the EYFS (early years). Prior to becoming a teacher, I worked in a Nursery.
My Qualifications
Qualified Teacher Status and a Bachelor's Degree with Honours in Working with Children and Families.

- Tutoring from £40.00 per hour
£40 per hour for Tuition
Hourly rate applies for completion of educational reports.
