Very responsible, fun and experienced student on holiday from university, looking for short-term, short-notice work til October. Eight years babysitting experience and a full year's employment as au pair. Experienced with all kinds of pets - cats and dogs of all sizes including puppies.
My Experience
I have been babysitting since I was fourteen and have a brother 9 years younger than me so am very experienced with toddlers and babies. When I was nineteen I au paired in Sweden for one year, came back the following two summers to stay with the same family: when I started the children were three and seven, one with dyspraxia and one with autism. Stayed overnight with kids on my own, doing pick ups and drop offs/dinner/bedtimes. I have also done family holidays with the same people where I was looking after four children at a time.
I have also grown up with giant dogs and worked at a kennel with chihuahuas and Great Danes. As an au pair I also house-trained their puppy (Labradoodle). Have also done housesitting for up to two weeks at a time for local families, taking care of dogs and cats (one indoor, one outdoor). Very experienced with horses too, having had two of my own growing up.
My Qualifications
I don't have any formal childcare qualifications but can provide reference from au pair family. I have top grades in my A-Levels and GCSEs so am happy to help with homework and tutoring, especially languages!
My Availability
I am available on short notice for work in Greater London. Can work early mornings all the way to late evenings, until October.
