I am a 23 year old student studying medicine (5th year) at the University of Edinburgh. I uphold the highest standards of responsibility and professionalism in everything I do. In my spare time, I love to cook and bake. Making food look exciting and delicious is something I am passionate about! I am a blogger sharing allergy friendly recipes and organising charity cooking classes for kids. No matter your children's allergies or preferences, I can prepare something tasty and nutritious!
At university, I am involved with various societies. I enjoy dance and being outdoors, particularly bike rides and running.
My Experience
I love caring for children and am looking for babysitting work as the flexible nature works with my schedule. As part of my medical course and wider volunteering, I have first aid training and PVG checks. I have experience as an NHS volunteer, being involved in providing activities for patients in hospital. I love to read and have good knowledge of popular children's authors from previous work at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. I hope to convey a sense of joy and excitement about books to younger readers!
My babysitting experience comes from looking after relatives' children for many years (references available). I studied for school exams in Scotland (National 5s, Highers and Advanced Highers) and would be happy to support any homework activities. I benefitted from the Edinburgh City music service (flautist) and can encourage music practice in children.

My Availability
My availability during working hours varies depending on my course schedule but I am consistently available on evenings and weekends. From June, I am on summer break and available during the day!
