About Me
We are first-time parents living in Limehouse, East London. We’re looking for a kind, nurturing and responsive part-time nanny to care of our 6-month old son. We are both business owners (working mostly from home), so somewhat flexible in our hours. We have a very chirpy sausage dog and two friendly cats, and we enjoy going for walks as a family, listening to music and cooking.
My Requirements
We’re looking for a kind, nurturing and responsive nanny to care for our happy, easy-going 6-month-old baby boy. Ideally someone who can speak French & help our son to develop this second language through play and reading.
Our ideal hours (but open to negotiation or chopping and changing, for the right person):
• Mondays: 10am – 2pm
• Tuesdays: 10am – 2pm
• Flexible; either wednesdays: 3pm – 6pm (but preferably friday morning 9am-12pm)
You’ll be supporting our little one’s daily routine and development, including:
• Engaging play and age-appropriate activities
• Encouraging developmental milestones
• Tracking wake windows & nap times
• Settling for naps
• Feeding and general baby care
We’d also love someone who isn’t afraid of helping with light housework (popping on a load of laundry, or loading the dishwasher, general light tidying related to the baby).
Must be comfortable with animals (we have a small sausage dog and two cats)
We’re hoping to find someone warm, relaxed, gentle and confident with young babies, who can become a supportive and positive part of our home. We are a fun, friendly & positive household. Please only apply if you feel competent in settling infants, sterilising bottles and changing nappies etc.

Dorothy was such a reliable, trustworthy and caring maternity nurse than we hired her for 6 weeks, but she ended up staying for 6 months! We just couldn't let her go.
Her cleanliness & hygiene is next to none, and her knowledge of newborns and babies (& all their developmental needs) is amazing. We would often walk around the house & hear her chatting away to our baby, telling him stories and just general topics of conversations. She was so caring and gentle with him.
She was such a light in our life during the tricky transition into parenthood, always making sure we were okay emotionally, not just physically.
We are seriously going to miss her walking through that front door at the start of each week, ready to get stuck in with our boy. Anyone would be lucky to have her!
