My son is Year 5 (Sept 2026). He has had an assessment for dyslexia which shows he requires significant support with his English. He has a strong attribute towards maths and is learning above his expected. So the tuition will literally focus on English. Specifically comprehension, grammar and punctuation. He has no issue with communicating his ideas and verbal understanding from text or discussions spoken to him. However reading text he struggles to comprehend the context and he also has difficulty writing his ideas down and writing what he wants to express. Ideally we are looking for a tutor that can take the time and focus on the above to help him progress.
