My Experience

At the end of March 2025, I moved from Sheffield to Scarborough.

I have worked as a primary school teacher (in Sheffield) for nearly 32 years and have a wealth of experience in teaching children (including those with a range of different special needs) across all the age groups from 4-11 but over more recent years have taught juniors in upper KS2. Until moving house, I recently tutored a child in Y6 and spent some of the time practising key skills for KS2 SATs.

Since taking early retirement last year, I have been doing some 1:1 tutoring in maths and English. I love working with children and like to try to make learning fun - I also offer flexibility and enjoy doing creative art work with kids.

I tutor from my home as I don’t always have access to our car.
