My Experience

I am currently working as a nanny and a private tutor. I am a nanny for children from birth upwards, and I tutor children from age 3-10 years.

For the past 11 months, I have been a nanny for a baby on a part-time basis. I have been looking after him since he was 5 weeks old. However, he is off to nursery now, so I have some more availability.

I also started working as a 1-1 tutor last January. I tutor many different children, currently aged 4-11, supporting them with areas such as phonics, reading and maths. Many of these children have SEND, and require extra support, which I am able to offer in our sessions.

I am a highly experienced teacher of 22 years. I have taught predominately within Foundation Stage and KS1 (ages 4-7), but have also taught up to Year 6, covering classes and teaching small groups. As well as class teacher, I have also led and taught intervention groups for English and Maths and have great experience teaching phonics using various schemes.

I have previously been an Au Pair in the USA. I cared for two children aged 4 and 2 on a full-time basis. I was responsible for creating and carrying out a range of activities for them, including arts/ crafts, maths and early literacy activities, driving them to activity groups, preparing their meals, bathing them and doing their bedtime routine.

BA (Hons) degree in Early Childhood Studies

My Availability

I am available for part-time nanny work and for private 1-1 tuition.

• Tutoring from £40.00 per hour

Tutor: £40 per hour
Nanny: £20 per hour
