About Me
Perfectly imperfect family of 3. Our 3 year old boy is very happy and healthy, although non-verbal and autistic. We love to be out doing things, but sometimes it can be hard as a mother on my own, so would love someone to accompany me at times to help. And also, to baby sit on the weekends sometimes so myself and my husband can venture out for a meal or date day/night. There maybe even opportunities to venture with us in our travels too if we find the right helper. As we are originally from Clitheroe, we have now bought a static caravan near Edisford Bridge and do spend most weekends in the Ribble Valley, so may be looking for extra support in Clitheroe also on the weekends.
My Requirements
One to one support at times to help him with sensory needs, bouncing, swimming, eating! Asher only really interacts with myself and his dad. It would be lovely to see him grow a new relationship with someone else he trusted. To help with his development with social and interaction skills. Asher also isn’t aware of danger, so he requires someone who is patient and has and eagle eye to watch him. If he can escape somewhere, he will work it out… and he will run like any 3 year old toddler :-)

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Megan. From day one, she’s brought such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care into our lives. Her attention to detail is absolutely second to none, nothing gets missed, and you can tell how much thought and heart she puts into everything she does.
She’s always punctual, super organised, and goes above and beyond in every way. Communication is one of her real strengths, we’re always kept in the loop, and she’s so approachable and easy to talk to. Megan has a wonderful way of adapting to fit around the needs of our family and, more importantly, what’s best for the child.
What really stands out is her deep knowledge and understanding of disabilities – it’s clear she’s incredibly experienced and makes safety and inclusion a top priority. On top of that, she’s always up to date with local events and activities, which keeps things exciting and fun for the little ones.
Honestly, we couldn’t ask for more. Megan has made such a positive difference, and we’re so grateful to have her support.
