About Me
Name megan i 38 years old i am reliable hard working i really enjoy working with children. As a mother myself, I understand how difficult it can be daily and the challenging we face everyday. I know first it be nervouse too leave your child in the hands of someone else. My experiences from being parent, nanny and baby sitting support family for various areas as volunteer local too me this has provided me with good skills in childcare. I feel very comfortable and competent caring for children. My experiences with my own children addtional needs learning difficulties, adhd and Austism and speach difficulties has given tools on how adapt for each indival child. Also that routines can be important to follow much possible were possible .
I aim to provide a caring and supportive environment and a variety of activities that children will enjoy and i happy do any activities that asked to do :) I also happy to do house old jobs and cooking and shopping as when required. . I good family support .Thank you
My Experience
i have worked in nurserys, children residential agency. I am babysittering for friends and family and work life skills with 1 young adult also do life skills teaching shopping exercise etc and one regular babysitter. I was brought up looking after all my siblings special my sister . I big family. I have lot experice from own children with children have learning diffcuts, speach difficulties,experience with special needs. I also work children in care in all ages.I learned lots as mum and found that every child has own way learning it exiting see . I feel i have lots experiences with children addtional needs and behaviours . I like reading also spare time like sewing and arts crafts . My children also had allergies so used to this :) any questions just ask :) i can do overnights depending when want and just need little notice were possible:). do respite at own home or person house . I have nanny’s insurance too . occasionally like weekends and summer holidays they both have DBS which is a great help .
My Qualifications
Numeracy and English level 2. NVQ ChildCare Level 2
Basic First Aid Training
DBS i have updates aviable when required :)
Experence with learning Difficulties , speach and behaviour, Adhd and autism i been lots of parents course and makton training.
My Availability
I am offering a flexible and adhoc babysitting.For this reason, prices will be need to be discussed. Please pop me a message over with your requirement i fexiable i can only do some weekends as i children my self unless got notice maximum 2 weekends a month . i have own car and drive :) i happy travel depending hrs and location
My Fees
- Babysitting from £18.00 per hour
- Nannying from £16.00 per hour (gross)
I can work.during the week days and over night also some weekends :) Also I can cover holidays while parents/ carers are away etc :) I have a minimum of a 3hr policy which can be seen in documents with my cancellation policy. I have a cancellation policy which I require less than 48 hours notice half of payment will be required of my normal hours.weekends price slight different and bank holidays will

Megan has been supporting our family for several years now. She is an excellent carer for my 14 year old autistic son. She also looks after my two younger children meeting all of their needs equally. I know I can rely on her and the children all like and trust her. I can highly recommend Megan.

We feel incredibly lucky to have found Megan. From day one, she’s brought such warmth, professionalism, and genuine care into our lives. Her attention to detail is absolutely second to none, nothing gets missed, and you can tell how much thought and heart she puts into everything she does.
She’s always punctual, super organised, and goes above and beyond in every way. Communication is one of her real strengths, we’re always kept in the loop, and she’s so approachable and easy to talk to. Megan has a wonderful way of adapting to fit around the needs of our family and, more importantly, what’s best for the child.
What really stands out is her deep knowledge and understanding of disabilities – it’s clear she’s incredibly experienced and makes safety and inclusion a top priority. On top of that, she’s always up to date with local events and activities, which keeps things exciting and fun for the little ones.
Honestly, we couldn’t ask for more. Megan has made such a positive difference, and we’re so grateful to have her support.

Megan has been working with my daughter for 6 months now and I am impressed.
She has done wonders. My daughter is calmer, happier and more focused. She responds better to instructions and cues when out and about. I have adopted the same measures and it has allowed me to take her to more social settings.
If you're looking for a carer to help with you're special needs child I would highly recommend Megan. She's a gem. I'm so lucky to have found her

Megan is an absolute star. Exactly the experienced, kind and professional carer I was looking for.
She takes my daughter 17 years old with global delay out and about. Teaching her about safety outdoors. She's implemented a few techniques that my daughter has picked up and adopted quickly. I'm very impressed in the short time how my daughter has adapted to learning from megan.
I would highly recommend any parent who has a special needs child who needs a break or help to hire Megan. I'm so glad I did and it's paying off.

Megan is absolutely amazing. She is friendly and smiley and happy to help with anything. Megan has meant my husband can have some well deserved respite as she comes and looks after both me and my 18 month old son. We cannot recommend her enough!

Megan has been helping me for a few months now and is absolutely brilliant! She is friendly and flexible as well as being fun. She is very good about understanding each individual child and instinctively knows what they need. She is very reliable and enjoys spending time with the children. Highly recommended.

Before finding Meg I met two other ladies who cancelled our first babysitting session with very short notice. I was becoming quite hopeless with the process.
Meg and I met before she started working for us. She drove to our house to meet our toddler.
She is friendly, caring and engaging. She plays enthusiastically with my daughter, takes her on walks, is punctual, flexible with our schedule and needs.
I would absolutely recommend her.

Meg looks after our 3 children twice a week. She plays with them, gives them their tea and settles them for bed. We are able to work without worry and the kids are happy and safe. Thank you Meg!

Megan looked after my 3 boys for 24 hours and did a superb job, she was amazing. Not only did she play with them at home but took them to a trampoline park too.
Megan is a kind, caring and fantastic person and I highly recommend her services
