Hello! I’m Carmel Browne, a warm and nurturing childminder with over 25 years of experience in education, working in children centres and Nurseries throughout Islington and Hackney. I've also run stay and play sessions for parents and carers
I believe childhood should be filled with exploration, creativity, and connection. That’s why I spend much of our time outdoors, in our allotment spece we call "The Growing Kitchen" where we grow our own fruit and vegetables to harvest and eat—whether it's enjoying nature in local parks or attending engaging group sessions that allow children to play, socialise, and grow together.
With a strong focus on emotional wellbeing, development through play, and lots of fresh air, I strive to create a spaces where every child feels happy, confident, and encouraged to be themselves.
