My Requirements

Evening & weekend childcare / extra pair of hands needed in Ewell Village

I’m looking for a friendly and reliable person to help me at home with my two children (a 2-year-old and a 3-month-old) from 15 to 25 October.

I’ll be at home as well, so this is very much an extra pair of hands role rather than sole-charge care of both children. We’d share the childcare depending on what needs doing at the time. My baby is exclusively breastfed.

Hours
Weekdays: 5:30–9:30pm
Weekends: 3–9pm

On weekdays, I’d like you to pick up my toddler from nursery at around 5:30pm and bring her home. Once home, we’d work together — for example, you might play with my toddler while I prepare dinner, or look after the baby while I feed my toddler.

Around bath and bedtime, again we can divide things between us depending on what’s needed, with you generally helping with my toddler’s bedtime and staying with her until she falls asleep. Once she’s asleep, I’d appreciate some help with the baby so I can get a few things done.

At weekends, it would be a similar arrangement — an extra pair of hands with the children while I’m at home, which might also include taking my toddler out for a walk for a little while.

I may also need similar help from 2 to 6 November, so if you are also available on these dates that would be fabulous, although I’m initially looking to arrange the October dates.

A current DBS is essential, and you’ll need to drive and have your own car for nursery pick-ups. Experience and confidence with toddlers and young babies is important, and paediatric first aid would be a bonus.

I’d also like to arrange a short introductory meeting beforehand so my toddler can meet you.
