My Requirements

We are expecting our second baby by planned c-section at the end of June. We are looking for childcare for our daughter who will be a bit over 20 months then.
(We may look for some additional help after the birth, but our priority at the moment is finding childcare during my hospital stay — one thing at a time!)

The exact surgery date will only be confirmed around a week beforehand by the hosital so looking for someone who may be comfortable with a on-call / flexible booking.

What we need:
• Evening nursery pick-up
• Dinner, bath and bedtime routine
• Overnight care at our home
• Getting her ready in the morning and nursery drop-off (breakfast at nursery)
(If mornings aren’t possible, we can consider arranging for my husband to take over.)

We expect this to be for approximately 2–3 days/nights, depending on my hospital stay.

About our daughter:
• 20 months old at the end of June
• Has an established bedtime routine
• Sleeps well overnight and self-settles, though we’re mindful she may be more unsettled without parents

We completely understand this may not suit everyone, but would love to hear from anyone who may be open to this.
