My Summary

My Experience

I have had many experiences working with children from the age of 16. I studied at college for 2 years, completing placements at a nursery, childminder, preschool, Infant school and Junior school. I passed my college course with a CACHE level 3 diploma in childcare and went straight on to work at a nursery for nearly two years. There I took on several roles such as risk assessments, planning activities and making observations on the children. I was lucky enough to work in every room, looking after children from the ages of 6 weeks up to 4 years, where they would leave for infant school.
Since leaving the nursery in 2011, I completed some work as a Nanny, which I believe to be an extremely rewarding job. Here, I had to use my own initiative to complete jobs and ensure the children are safe, happy, developing and progressing as children need to.
Since leaving Nannying in 2016, I have been working in a nursery in a Baby Room.
As close friends of mine have their own children, I feel I am lucky to have experience from the newborn age.
Through my friends children, I have also gained some experience with special needs children, as my godchildren have been diagnosed with autism.

My Qualifications

I have a CACHE Level 3 in Childcare.
I have also completed a First Aid Training Course.
I also have 8 GSCE's at a grade level of C and above.
