My Summary
About Me
Specialist in Calm Learning for Children with ADHD, Autism and Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
I help children who have autism and/or are emotionally overwhelmed rebuild confidence, regulate, and re-engage with learning - without pressure or school-style stress.
My approach removes pressure, focuses on regulation first, and rebuilds confidence step by step, because learning only happens when a child feels safe. I have extensive experience supporting all children with emotional regulation, as well as those who are Gestalt Language Processors and/or have a PDA profile.
I work closely with parents, offering guidance and reassurance so you’re not navigating this alone.
Hi, I’m Adam, an Early Years/ Primary Teacher based in Herne Bay. I’m currently studying for my PhD in Education and specialise in supporting neurodivergent children. I can support all children and young people with early phonics and reading, mathematical mastery, the Primary/ Secondary National Curriculum, and 11+ prep.
I also offer ‘playcare’, a play-based, tailored form of childcare, spending time with your child to explore their interests at their home or in the community, rather than parents relying on wraparounds or generic after-school clubs.
Send me a message to find out more.
I am not OFSTED registered, nor do I accept childcare vouchers.

My son is 6 years old, autistic and very high needs. Since Adam has started supporting him, we have seen such a remarkable difference and my son is now engaging in ways we never thought he would. Adam is so supportive, so caring and really tailors activities to the child and their interests and individual needs. His understanding of SEN and his approaches have been such a breath of fresh air compared to our experience of the school system. My son looks forward to Adam's sessions so much and I feel so happy we found him!

Adam has been tutoring my son for a while now, and the positive change it has brought to all of our lives has been unmatched by any other educator. Adam has a sound understanding of SEN, and is able to incorporate fun into the curriculum that my child so needed extra support with.
Adam is always positive and upbeat, and displays a great deal of empathy during some of the trickier sessions he faces with my child.
Thank you!!!
