I wish I could give Melissa more stars. She is the kind of person you hope that you find.
First of all, she formed a genuine relationship with my kids. She didn’t just look after them but she got to know them, she cared about what made them tick. She asked them interesting questions, had meaningful conversations with them, and constantly challenged them to explain and explore their answers and thoughts.
Not because anyone asked her too, but because she sincerely cared about their thoughts and made an outstanding effort to connect with them.
In exchange, my kids were always the best amazing version of themselves around Melissa. They had fun, stayed engaged, and used fantastic manners- all while being extremely respectful towards her. Her ability to engage with them, not just entertain them was outstanding. They adore her and consider her a part of our extended family. Amazing childcare aside, Melissa is hilarious, honest, kind, and extremely down to earth. She is respectful, fair and the type of person who just does things right.
The world needs more people like her.
