About Me
Hi, my name is Saskia and I’m 21 years old. I have been a live-in au pair since July 2024, caring for two girls aged four and six, and we also welcomed a baby girl in August 2025.
I have hands-on experience with children of different ages and am confident with daily routines, childcare responsibilities, and supporting busy parents. I am available Monday to Friday between 10am and 2pm and am looking to help families during this time.
I am based in Clapham and am happy to travel for the right position.
In addition to my au pair experience, I completed my yachting courses before taking on this role, which provided me with an elementary first aid qualification.
My Experience
I have been working as a live-in au pair for over a year for a lovely family , caring for two young girls aged 4 and 6. During this time, I have gained invaluable hands-on experience in managing daily childcare tasks, including meal preparation, bedtime routines, educational play, and light household duties as well as flexibility. I truly enjoy spending time with children and find it rewarding to help them learn and grow.
My Qualifications
AS & GCSE level exams were done in South Africa. And after school I did my yachting courses to become a stewardess on the yachts. With that I received my elementary first aid!
