About Me
Hi, I'm Amy! I'm 27, energetic, enthusiastic and definitely not the type to sit on the sidelines. I'm the adult you'll spot diving into the ball pit, racing to the top of the climbing frame, bouncing on the bouncy castle or turning up in fancy dress if that's what the day calls for! I love getting stuck into games, crafts, imaginative play and outdoor adventures, and I'm all about making sure children have fun while feeling safe, happy and cared for.
Growing up with three younger brothers (aged 19, 14 and 4), I've always had little ones around, so being caring, patient and nurturing has always come naturally. I'm friendly, reliable and love building genuine relationships with both children and parents, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and at ease.
My Experience
I've been babysitting since 2016 and have worked in childcare professionally since 2019. For the past five years I've worked in a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant, supporting children aged 2-11.
During this time I've qualified as an EYFS Practitioner, been a Key Group Leader and worked 1:1 with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). These roles have given me experience with children of all ages, abilities and personalities, helping me adapt to each child's individual needs and support their learning, confidence and development.
Building strong relationships with children and their families has always been one of my favourite parts of the job, and I pride myself on being someone parents can trust and children genuinely enjoy spending time with.
