About Me

Hi, I’m Suzanna!

I’m an NMC-registered Nursing Associate with a bubbly, caring and creative personality, alongside several years of experience supporting and engaging with children.
Although I’m not Ofsted-registered or a certified nanny, my nursing background has taught me the fundamentals of providing safe, compassionate and attentive care. I have worked across paediatric wards and outpatient settings, and bring the same personal responsibility, patience and warmth I give my patients into caring for children.

My experience:
Preschool organiser – led weekly creative activities and music sessions supporting children’s social and developmental skills

During lockdown, my mother and I created weekly educational videos for children aged 2–8, bringing stories to life with crafts, activities and our puppet, Mickey the Mouse! This taught me lots about creativity, engagement and adapting activities for different ages

Learning Support Assistant – mentored Year 6 pupils academically and emotionally during their transition to secondary school

Residential holiday camp Team Leader – organised engaging activities while prioritising children’s safety, enjoyment and teamwork

Observed Speech & Language Therapy with autistic children, developing my understanding of different communication needs

Level 1 Makaton trained, with additional training in mental health and autism

Medical & safety skills:
I’m trained in BLS, paediatric CPR, choking, burns, allergies/anaphylaxis and epilepsy/seizure management, and I’m comfortable with medication administration and EpiPens. My clinical training therefore extends beyond a standard paediatric first-aid course.

What I offer:
Coming from a family of teachers, cognitive, social and emotional development is really important to me. I love creating age-appropriate arts and crafts, stories, imaginative play, music, outdoor activities and learning through play.
Most importantly, I want children in my care to feel safe, listened to, encouraged and genuinely cared for — while having lots of fun along the way!
