About Me
I'm Miranda, an enthusiastic and dedicated babysitter/nanny. I have extensive childcare experience, and am keen to continue in this line of work before I go to university. I’m reliable and a good communicator, adaptable and open to working with babies and children of all ages.
I have a passion for helping kids learn and grow in safe, stimulating environments and enjoy doing creative activities with them. Additionally, I am able to prepare nutritious meals and offer light housework while babysitting. I am also happy to help school aged children with homework/reading, and have previous experience of this.
My Experience
I was an after school nanny for a year, to a 4 year old (three times a week). Additionally, I have some experience working in a nursey (ages 2 to 5), covering shifts when teachers have been short staffed. This summer I worked at a summer camp for primary school aged children, and I've also done babysitting gigs over past 3/4 years (ages 1 and up).
At the moment I am doing 15/20 hours of babysitting and nannying a weeks, mostly caring for infants and toddlers. I have experience with all ages, including newborns.
My Qualifications
I have a paediatric first aid qualification and have completed school education (GCSE and A level).
I also did an EPQ on psychology that was related to child development.
