About Me

I'm Miranda, an enthusiastic and dedicated nanny/night nanny/nursery worker with a strong interest in newborn care. I have over 5 years childcare experience and have worked with children in many different settings and capacities, but have particularly been caring for infants over the past few years. This has included everything from working in a nursery to night nannying. I am confident undertaking all aspects of newborn care and have also worked with multiples, having done sole charge night nannying for premature triplets recently. I will be completing my Level 4 Maternity Nurse qualification (with Babyem) in July. My aspiration is to study medicine and specialise in paediatrics.

I completed Paediatric First Aid training in 2024 and did an EPQ on Psychology related to Child Development. I also did some CPD courses with the Early Years Alliance called Inspirational Babyroom Practice and Baby Brain Development. I have an enhanced DBS check and am bilingual, speaking both English and German. I have a basic level of Spanish.

Hobbies of mine include playing guitar, swimming and bouldering. I like to think of myself as a warm, easygoing person who works well in a team and strives to provide the best possible care. Any further questions, feel free to reach out and ask!
